The work may look different. The purpose has always been the same.
I’ve spent my career in the space between a good idea and the people who need to understand it, trust it, and use it. I’m naturally drawn to making complicated things clearer, creating practical next steps, and noticing what people need in order to move forward with confidence.
That instinct shapes how I prepare teams for change, teach practical technology, welcome someone into a new community, and create room for people to learn from one another. I value what happens when people feel safe enough to ask honest questions, share what they know, and grow together.
I’m also a U.S. Air Force veteran, a wife, mother of five, grandmother, lifelong learner, and woman of faith. Those parts of my story keep me grounded in curiosity, resilience, service, and the belief that growth should make room for the whole person.
The community expression of my work
Welcome to The Social Garden.
The Social Garden is a local Tulsa community where people can connect, learn from one another, and share new experiences. It creates room for small, supportive communities to grow over time through in-person gatherings, community learning, and shared experiences.
It is also a place for community learning. I may teach or facilitate, but I am not meant to be the only source of knowledge. People bring lived experience, questions, skills, and resources of their own. With trust, generosity, and room to participate, the community becomes part of how everyone learns.
Through welcoming adventures, gatherings, and learning experiences, The Social Garden helps people try something new, move beyond surface-level connection, and grow in ways that feel practical, personal, and shared.
